Rolled Products

In the rolled products sector, in which the specialization and quality are large differentials, CBA has demonstrated a growing participation, due to the constant investments made in equipment modernization, methods and production processes it uses.

The presence of aluminum sheets is growing in the day-to-day of people, specially due to the characteristics of the metal, such as non-toxicity, optimum thermal and electric conductivity, flexibility, insipidness, resistance to contamination and capacity to block the passage of light and oxygen.

They are employed in the confection of packaging for food and pharmaceutical products, lids, membranes and electronic components, as also used in the automobile and refrigeration industry.

CBA produces aluminum sheets after successive stages of cold rolling of homogenized plates, putting at its clients disposal, rolled products with a thickness range from 0.00635 mm to 0.4 mm. It has an installed capacity of approximately 48 thousand tons/year.
