Rods
The product is used mainly for the production
of wires and cables which conduct electricity. During production, liquid aluminum is transformed into
rods, which is, after a rolling process, coiled in compliance with OTT (jumbo coil) standard system.
The wire may be produced in the
alloys AA1370 and AA1350. The metal used for both receives
a prior treatment with borax (borate of soda) in the
pot rooms, used to improve the electric conductivity
of the material.

Packaging
The coils of wires are conditioned in wood pallets, positioned on their vertical axis. The pallets are prepared for their movement with fork lifts and conveyor belts, facilitating the handling and transportation.
The coil is protected using corrugated and plain cardboard, and attached to a pallet with polyester tape.
The pallets are duly identified, by means of a card containing client data and material packed.
