Fumaça
The hydroelectric power plant of Fumaça is located in the municipality Ibiúna, some 110 kilometers from the city of São Paulo. Its construction was initiated in 1957 and concluded in 1964. It is the second hydroelectric constructed by CBA and uses the waters of the River Juquiá for generation of energy.
Its annual average capacity of generation is of 220 GWh and its dam has 154 meters of extension and 53.5 meters of height, from the lowest point of the foundation. It has a fall of 125.7 meters.
It has two generators Brown Boveri and two turbines Escher Wyss.
